Goodbye Blue Monday
Kurt Vonnegut passed away today.
I loved his writing a great deal.
He was one of the authors that inspired me enough to write.
And I'm going to miss him very much.
I hope he's in a better time now.
"I am a Tralfamadorian, seeing all time as you might see a stretch of the Rocky Mountains. All time is all time. It does not change. It does not lend itself to warnings or explanations. It simply is."
p.s.He once wrote his own eulogy in Timequake."Kurt is up in heaven now." It's a humanist joke. Get it?

ReplyDeleteWell, I didn't really feel like saying anything. I think a sadness pretty much sums it up for me. It really wasn't meant to be inappropriate or flippant. I'm sorry if it came across that way.
ReplyDeleteit's alright. on second thought, he wouldn't anything serious anyway.
